Random selection of questions

I would like to be able to randomly select a specific number of questions (for example, 20 out of 60) from a question bank, so that each student receives a different set of 20 questions. This is important to ensure the security and diversity of the exams.

It would be convenient to be able to duplicate a question rather than having to write from scratch a question that has many points in common with another.

Show exam documents on the graded submission

Problem On the digital graded copy, neither the instructor nor the student can view the exam materials (PDFs, audio, video) linked to the sections and exercises. To grade or review an answer that relies on an attachment, you must return to the editor. Solution On the graded copy, the documents for a section or exercise appear as tiles. Clicking on one opens a drawer on the right that displays all the documents for that exercise in tabs, just like the exam drawer, using the same player (PDF, audio, video, with no playback limits). For instructors: the drawer is the one from the layout, in place of the chat, with a download button. The documents are always visible. Student view: drawer on the right side of the page, without a download option, just like during the exam. New option in Share > Answer Key Viewable “After Submission”: Documents Viewable (quizzes.correction_documents_visible_to_students, disabled by default). It is set to false when the answer key is no longer viewable after submission, and is copied along with the settings when the course is duplicated. Student access rule Never before starting the exam. During the exam: normal access. After the exam: only if the graded copy is viewable and the “Viewable documents” option is enabled. This rule is enforced on the server side in Quizzes::DocumentPolicy (file and metadata) and Quizzes::InstancePolicy::Fields (quiz_assets), via Quiz#graded_submission_documents_visible?. Outside the scope; to be handled separately Api::V1::Quizzes::DocumentsController#create has no authorization: any logged-in user can add a file to any exam. DocumentsController#index is accessible to any teacher from any school (document names and IDs). Make the text of the oral question easier to read

Adapting verbal instructions without preparation time

The instructions indicate a preparation time and state that recording starts automatically even when no preparation time is configured. Display instructions appropriate for this configuration and only include the wording about preparation when a preparation time is specified. Featurebase Request

Import students without email

As a teacher, I'd like to import students without having to enter their emails since 1/ I don't have 2/ or don't want or don't have the right to use the emails of my students/pupils 3/ I don't need to call them upstream 4/ or I don't need to notify them by email of their results. As a workaround, I have to enter unique random emails for each of my students and it's tedious. 🙈

Create & manage your own student groups

As a teacher, I'd like to create and manage my own student/pupil groups so that I can reuse them in each of my MCQs without re-importing an Excel file or worse re-typing everything by hand 🙈.

Option to remove blank pages from generated topics

There is often a blank page separating one student's topic from the next's grid, it serves no purpose but counts towards printing quotas, it would be nice to remove all these blank pages.

Correct the MCQ scale post-examination and recalculate points

Today, once the exam has been taken, you can only rectify the correct choices ticked, question weightings as well as the correction commentary, and tags. As a teacher, I'd like to be able to rectify the MCQ scale and chosen point calculation options too, and recalculate all grades.

Move questions more easily

It is currently tedious to move a question from the 40th to the 2nd position, for example, even more so if there are exercises in the middle. It would be practical to be able to directly indicate "move to ith position".

It should be possible to choose one's personalized skills by default so as not to have to recreate tags for each assessment. In high school physics chemistry, skills are fixed: Appropriate, analyze, restitute knowledge (OCR), realize, communicate, validate Ideally I wouldn't want to configure them every time and have a default setting. One solution would be to have a preferences area: → Add to home the possibility of default settings (custom tags) and a class area with lists saved once and for all. Avoids having to import the list for each evaluation.

How do I insert an open question with image? I can only have closed questions in the current choices.

Share a link to view notes for external stakeholders

I would like to be able to send a direct link to guest speakers or external professors so that they can view their students' grades without having to log in to the platform. This would simplify the sharing of information with stakeholders who do not have direct access to Papeez.

In terms of statistics, it would be nice to be able to filter by group, as with notes.

Line of repentance/line of remorse

Students should be able to edit their initial answer instead of leaving it blank. We need the mock exams to be conducted under the same conditions as the official exams.

Answer key: font size cannot be changed

As a teacher, I want to be able to change the font size of the answer grid so that I can produce a paper exam that is fully legible for a student with impaired vision (e.g., Arial 14-16), without only enlarging the question. Currently, the layout applies to the question but not to the answer grid—the workaround (duplicating the exam) does not resolve this issue.

More precise topic layout settings: line spacing

In order to edit topics compatible with the accommodation requests of students with disabilities (particularly dys disorders), it would be useful to be able to configure the appearance of the PDF in greater detail, beyond the size and type of font or columns, and to increase the line spacing in particular.

Questions/exercises too easy to delete and too difficult to reorder questions

Dear Papeez staff: your application is very useful but: it should ask you an additional confirmation to delete questions and exercises: it is extremely easy to click the delete button by mistake and lose your question. Trash Bin / Recovery for Deleted Exercises

I want a trash bin or a way to recover exercises that were deleted by mistake. Currently, if an exercise is deleted, it seems to be permanently lost, which is problematic if it happens accidentally.

History & versioning of changes to the topic

As the reviewer/editor of the topic, I would like to be able to access the latest changes and undo changes in order to recover questions that have been deleted by mistake, for example.

Be copied on the email distribution list for grades

When students are sent their grades with access to their marking scheme and corrections, we cannot see what has been sent to them. It would be useful to receive a copy of what students in the class receive so that we can check that they have had access to everything. Thank you.

Hello, would it be possible to add in the parameters the possibility of generating copies not in alphabetical order but by class group? Would it also be possible to add the student number on the name statement so that it would be easier to file it later. thank you

Add an option to archive student groups

Users need a feature to quickly clear all data from existing student groups so they can start over with new students without having to delete each student individually. This would simplify class management from year to year or when preparing for new sessions.
